Mt Tumbarumba is undoubtedly a Gravity based trail network built around a shuttle access model. But it was important to the project team that those who want to earn their turns can ride to all points on dedicated climbing trails. And with E-Bikes being so good these days, Up-hill Flow is a thing, and we want more if it.
This was the brief we gave for the climbing trails which became the responsibility of Paul Gardner, the third in our Trail Builder profiles.
If you’ve met Paul you’ll know he exudes enthusiasm for trail building. It’s not Paul’s first project in Tumbarumba, he was involved in the Town Common and Mason’s Hill trails. However on Mt Tumbarumba his enthusiasm was in over-drive. For the terrain, the rock, the town, even the weather.
